My Thoughts
I see AI as a tool that can be incredibly useful or misused, depending on how it’s applied. For me, AI is about enhancing what I can do, not replacing the human touch. It’s a way to work more efficiently, not an excuse to work less.
What I Use AI For
I primarily use AI for tasks that are repetitive or tedious. If something feels like a chore, there’s a good chance AI can take it off my plate, freeing me up to focus on what truly matters. It also helps me streamline my workflow, making me more effective without losing the personal, human element.
What I Don’t Use AI For
There are lines I won’t cross. I’ll never publish or use AI-generated content without thoroughly reviewing and understanding it first. I also won’t present AI work as my own, if AI played a role, I’ll make that clear. Beyond that, I won’t use it to mislead, manipulate, or deceive anyone, and I’ll always keep the final say on important decisions in human hands.
My Chosen Tool
After trying out a few options, I settled on Mistral with OpenCode. They stood out to me as the most transparent and ethical choice.
